摘要
The large-scale invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine in 2022 caused a significant number of social and individual tragedies, one of which was the mass exodus of people from dangerous areas due to the loss of their homes and the threat to their lives and health. By the end of November 2022, the number of internally displaced persons reached nearly 7 million. The suddenness and high intensity of stress in these conditions contributed to the emergence of various emotional and physiological reactions. Unprocessed trauma and psychological experiences related to the ongoing war triggered several psychosomatic disorders that may develop into diseases in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to identify effective ways to prevent the somatisation of psychological stress and reduce the impact of stress factors on the nation's health in the future. The study aimed to analyse and experimentally investigate the spectrum of psychosomatic disorders in internally displaced persons and the individual psychological characteristics of the personality that contributed to their manifestation. The research methodology is presented by theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis, systematisation, and generalisation of the obtained information and modelling. Using correlation analysis, it was proven that some psychological defences, such as compensation, regression, and projection, have a direct connection with psychosomatic disorders. Based on the analysis of theoretical materials, methods, and questionnaires that reflect the presence and structure of psychosomatic manifestations, as well as the personal characteristics that affect this, were selected.
