摘要
Equine glandular gastric disease (EGGD) is a common disorder of horses that presents challenges in both diagnosis and treatment for equine veterinarians. Because clinical signs are non-specific, diagnosis requires endoscopy. Lesion grading may be inconsistent due to challenges in interpreting endoscopic findings, which complicates diagnosis and monitoring. Successful management is difficult due to the multifactorial pathogenesis of disease. This review will provide an overview of the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and approach to the management of EGGD.
