摘要
While acknowledging the advancement of digital technologies in the construction industry, however, its application in the context of construction health and safety has not been fully integrated. This study unraveled the application of safety technologies by examining the benefits, and challenges facing its application. To achieve this aim, a structured literature review was conducted on the current research trends by reviewing selected articles from 2010 to 2022. The findings of the study attributed the benefits of safety technologies to; increased collaboration, improved productivity, reduced safety hazards, among others. The result also revealed that organisations' level of interest, resistance to change, unavailability of funds, unavailability of training capability, lack of assess to wireless broadband, among others. The findings from this study will be beneficial to researchers and industry practitioners on ways in which the advancement of safety technologies can improve the health and safety of construction workers.
