摘要
Gender identity (GI) is the cognitive, perception and perspective of a person on his/her own sexual matters. Along with another psychiatric selfstigmatization (SS), caused low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, suicidal ideation, tendencies among youth. A cross-sectional study conducted among university students to identify the prevalence of gender identity and its impact on gender self-stigma. The prevalence of GI and SS was relatively low and was associated. Creating appropriate intervention, both at the social education level and other levels was necessary to develop skills and to continue promoting awareness and learning about gender and transgender issues.
