THE KINETIC THEORY OF MULTICOMPONENT DILUTE GASES UNDER ELECTRO-MAGNETIC FIELD

<正> In this article the transport phenomena of multicomponent dilute gases under electromagnetic and gravity fields are treated by the thirteen-moment method of Grad. An approximate solution of the Boltzmann equation and expressions for the transport coefficients are obtained. An expression for the electrical conductivity of partly ionized gases is derived. Finally, conditions for the validity of the results are discussed.
