摘要
Additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology is generally regarded as the advanced manufacturing technology with the most profound revolutionary character. It has developed rapidly and entered gradually into various industrial applications in recent years due to its advantages, which including high utilization of raw materials, short production cycle, and high efficiency to form complex components without moulds. The metal powder, as the key element in the additive manufacturing technique, crucial to the properties of the additive manufactured crafts. Considering the application and development of metal materials in the additive manufacturing field, combining with the present main additive manufacturing technologies, the metal powder fabrication process, parameter diagram and mechanism, advantages and disadvantages, and performance test methods of raw materials were analyzed systematically in this work. © 2021, Science Press.
