摘要
Having faced difficulties in 2008 and 2014 with a sudden drop in oil prices, the industry must accept that 2020 will be included in the future list of disastrous years. However, it was even harder to prepare for the oil crisis of 2008 and 2014. This paper aims to look at a supplier of subsea production infrastructure to the oil- and gas industry and the situation during and following the COVID-19 pandemic; with a system thinking perspective. System thinking models such as casual loop, CATWOE and Conceptagon will be applied in an effort to describe a supplier of submarine production infrastructure, its environment, and possible leverage points to improve the protentional outcome of these uncertain times.
