摘要
To study the mechanical performance of concrete-filled double-skin steel tube(CFDST)under axial impact loading, dynamic compression tests on CFDST at different impact speeds were carried out by using the split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)with the diameter of 75 mm. The numerical model of the SHPB tests was established. The effects of the material strength, the outer steel tube thickness and the hollow ratio on the dynamic mechanical properties of CFDST were studied. The results show that CFDST specimens maintain good integrity under the axial impact loading. With the increase of the impact speed, the dynamic compressive strength of CFDST increase while the growth rate tends to slow down. The material strength, the outer steel tube thickness and the hollow ratio have significant influences on the dynamic compressive strength of CFDST. The proposed dynamic stress-strain model of CFDST based on the existing models can basically reflect the dynamic mechanical behavior of CFDST under axial impact loading, thus providing the references for engineering design and analysis. © 2022 Southeast University.
