摘要
In the current study, the passive strategies in traditional houses of Shiraz were investigated and the correlation between PMV/PPD model and environmental parameters has been evaluated to predict thermal comfort in traditional houses. In this study, first, a traditional house as a case study was selected and the thermal comfort conditions of the Talar room were analysed with the PMV/PPD model by DesignBuilder software. Results revealed that PMV of the Talar room in May, June, September and October were in the range of −1 to 1 which shows that the thermal comfort condition has been convenient. Additionally, PMV possessed the highest correlation coefficients with Ta (r = 0.84), Tr (r = 0.84), Top (r = 0.84), T out (r = 0.82) and lowest correlation coefficients with RH (r = 0.69). It has been discovered that PMV is more similar to PPD (r = 0.95). © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
