Toxicodendron vernicifluum (Stokes) F. A. Barkley (Chinese lacquer tree) is a kind of tree species with high economic and ecological value, which has been cultivated and utilized in our country for thousands of years, with great potential for development, which is of great significance for realizing the goal of ecological civilization construction and sustainable development. This paper reviews the current situation of the utilization of Chinese lacquer tree nowadays, outlines the multipurpose value of Chinese lacquer tree resources, analyzes the main problems faced by the development of Chinese lacquer tree nowadays and puts forward countermeasures to solve the problem This paper points out that it is crucial to strengthen the development and utilization of the whole Chinese lacquer tree, research and development of high value-added products, and expansion of the deep -processing industry chain in order to form a large-scale, intensified, and refined utilization system. By adopting measures such as collecting high -quality varieties, strengthening scientific and technological support, researching and developing high value-added products, and protecting traditional culture, Chinese lacquer tree resources can be developed indepth and sustainable development of the industry can be promoted. These ideas are intended to provide a reference basis for the research and development and utilization of Chinese lacquer tree resources.
