摘要
Cogeneration is the concept of producing two forms of energy outputs from one or more inputs. Any typical conventional power plant converts 35% of energy into power, remaining 65% energy escapes through the condenser. Since the condensation heat removal is at low temperature, all this heat goes as waste. Cogeneration process has been stabilized for power and process steam requirements. This process reduces the installation cost of each system and improves the overall efficiency, reliability and economical aspects for energy conversion applications. This review article shows different cogeneration systems based on the solar thermal energy usage. © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
