摘要
The four-stage cascade vapour compression refrigeration system (CVCRS) integrated Linde-Hampson cycle (CVCRS-LH) is proposed in order to liquefy methane gas. The effects of isentropic efficiency of compressors, methane mass flow rate, evaporating and condensing temperatures on the performance of the four-stage CVCRS-LH and exergy efficiency are investigated with respect to the refrigerants R290, R600a and R161used in the fourth stage. The highest COP and exergy efficiency values were obtained by using R600a as refrigerant for all values of isentropic efficiency of compressors, methane mass flow rate, evaporating and condensing temperatures under the study in the fourth stage of the four stage CVCRS-LH.
