Preparation and electrochemical performance of CoO-CoP-CNT functional membrane for Li-S battery

摘要
CoO-CoP-CNT heterogeneous material functional separator was prepared and loaded into a lithium-sulfur battery. The separator is the only channel for LiPS shuttle. The introduction of CoO-CoP-CNT coating into the separator can perform a better 'interception-adsorption-conversion' process on the dissolved LiPS, thereby inhibiting the LiPS shuttle effect and achieving efficient use of active substances. Electrochemical tests show that the battery using CoO-CoP-CNT functional separator exhibits a high initial discharge capacity (1233.4 mAh g-1) at 0.5C, and the capacity retention rate is 57.3 % after 200 cycles. After 500 cycles at 2C, the capacity retention rate is 57.6 %. The CoO-CoP-CNT functional separator significantly improves the cycle stability of the battery.
