摘要
We documented the first voucher specimen of a North American river otter (Lontra canadensis) in Payne County, Oklahoma. We deposited the specimen in the Oklahoma State University Collection of Vertebrates. The discovery of this specimen demonstrates a continued growth of the distribution of river otters within Oklahoma into new areas and those in which the species had been previously extirpated.
