Bicornuate uterus with endometrial cyst at ovarian level: Case Report

The objective of this study was to present a case report of a bicornuate uterus with endometrial cyst at the level of the ovary and to review the incidence of reported cases. We present the case of a 21-yearold primigravida patient, with no previous abortions, who was seen at a medical care referral center located in Cuenca, Ecuador, for vaginal discharge outside the menstrual period, brown in color, accompanied by a bad odor that occurred when she had sexual intercourse. Complementary examinations showed a bicornuate uterus with endometrial cyst at the ovarian level. The patient was reviewed in several bibliographic databases to obtain more information about it. Bicornuate uterus with endometrial cyst at the ovarian level is a pathological variant with a very low incidence, because of this, the clinical management that can be provided to patients with this condition is very limited due to the lack of information on these cases, whether its treatment, management, among others.
