摘要
Power grid with highly penetrated photovoltaics is one of the typical scenes of power electronic power system. Large-scale photovoltaic access significantly affects the dynamic frequency characteristics of the power grid. In this paper, the frequency variation law of power grid under unbalanced power impact is studied firstly, and the characteristics of typical response trajectory are analyzed by stages. Secondly, based on the model of photovoltaic power generation system, its differences to traditional power sources are pointed out, as well as its effect in different phases of frequency variation. Thirdly, the countermeasures to improve frequency response characteristics are put forward. Finally, the simulation results of the hybrid HVDC-AC power grid with highly penetrated photovoltaics verify correctness of the frequency dynamic characteristic analysis and effectiveness of the countermeasures. © 2019, Power System Technology Press.
