The Interstate 74 Mississippi River Bridge project improves commuter and pedestrian connectivity in a region of Illinois and Iowa known as the Quad Cities. The project comprises a new twin-span bridge that traverses the river, linking the two states, as well as reconfigured interchanges and revamped roadways in the region. © 2022 American Society of Civil Engineers.
