Development of a Digital Shadow of the Production to Visualize the Value Stream in Real-time. In order to make the right decisions in the dynamics of today‘s production systems, up-to-date information on the status of a value stream is necessary. The large amount of available data offers companies the opportunity to prioritize and implement necessary changes in the production system with regard to a flow-oriented design of the value stream within the framework of value stream management. The basis for this is the development of a digital shadow as a real-time capable, virtual image of the production. © Carl Hanser Verlag GmbH & Co. KG.
