Pursuant to Art. 2224 of the Civil Code, personal actions and actions relating to movable property are time-barred after five years from the day on which the holder of a right knew or should have known the facts enabling him to exercise it.The limitation period for civil actions for copyright infringement is subject to these provisions.The limitation period begins on the date on which the infringing nature of the work exhibited has been admitted and the action is time-barred, even if the infringement is ongoing.
