Syntheses and Characterizations of the Lanthanide Compounds with 4-(4-Pyridyl)benzoate and 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylate as Ligands

摘要
Two new lanthanide coordination polymers, namely [Ln;(μ;-OH)(pydca)-(pyba)3(H;O)]n(Ln = Pr, 1; Eu, 2; Hpyba = 4-(4-pyridyl)benzoic acid; H2 pydca = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid), have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The chains of 1 and 2 are constructed by tetrametallic units of [Ln;(OH);(pyba);], which are further linked by μ;-k;N, k;O, k;O′, k;O″-pydca and μ;-k;N, k;O, k;O′-pyba to form 2D frameworks. Luminescence measurement reveals that compound 2 exhibits strong reddish emission at room temperature.
