摘要：
<正> Medical informatics has become a new discipline and an indispensable component of modern medical theory and practice. Since the 1980s, rapid progress has been made in the study and application of medical informatics in China with the impetus of advancement of international medical informatics. This paper briefly reviewed the development of the medical informatics in China and discussed some problems with respect to its further development.
