摘要
Using a laser pulse to measure the distance between the laser station and the satellites equipped with retro-reflectors is a high precision technique for satellite tracking. It can be applied to accurately determine the orbit of satellite, to monitor the earth movements such as polar motion, rotation and crustal movements, etc., and to measure the distances between the laser stations. So it is of importance to astro-geodynamics, geodesy and seismology.
