<正> The oxidative degradation of aqueous carbofuran,a heavily used toxic carbamateinsecticide by low temperature plasma,was investigated.The results show that the treatmentefficiency increases with the increase in initial concentration.Raising the treatment temperatureand changing the pH value can result in enhanced degradation of carbofuran in solution.Theresults also show that low temperature plasma treatment can effectively remove chemical oxygendemand (COD) of carbofuran in the solution.
