摘要
The dispersion characteristics of a waveguide filled with magnetoactive semiconductor plasma in the region of complex transverse wave numbers are investigated. A new family of modes with a pseudo-surface space structure is found. Their characteristics are described and their genesis from the slow space-plasma modes in such waveguides is established. The critical parameters of the system are determined which divide the parameter space into regions where the new modes are possible and such where they are forbidden. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
