摘要
The article studies the various modalities that the Hispamerica journal has taken in relation to Latin American literary criticism during the first two decades of its publication, between the 70s and the 80s. Analyze the state of Hispanic American literary studies at the time of the emergence of the magazine and a special placement within them. Born in the height of the crisis and reformulation of Latin American literary criticism, the magazine has managed to capture the vast majority of critical trends without falling into the restrictive positioning of the various "theoretical communities" or, conversely, in the hybridity that prevents any placement within the critical thinking that studies this literature. In the overlapping of these tensions, the journal, rather than starring in the debates, puts them on stage, speaks through their system of selections, gives prominence to the critic and his proposal, and allows the reader, opening the literary repertoire, critical and theoretical.
