摘要：
A study was carried out for analysis of the controlling factors of sinter strength and a quantitative prediction model for sinter strength was developed. Sinter strength is described in terms of porosity, mineral composition and melting ratio on the basis a model of porous materials. The calculated strength was in relatively good agreement with measured strength.
