摘要
Investigation of some representative medicinal plants, starting with extraction and ending with identification of the amino-acids they contained was performed by extraction of dried material with solution of 1% hydrochloric acid and by double development on cellulose thin layer chromatography plates. The main advantage of thin layer chromatography for the analysis of plants extracts is its high sample throughout, since sample preparation reguirements are minimal and multiple sample can be separated simultaneously.
