摘要
The use of relapse-prevention-specific interventions in clinical addictions treatment programs is widely supported. While there is considerable information and research available regarding relapse prevention, there is little if any available regarding such interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, borderline intellectual functioning, or illiteracy. A group design is proposed for this population that can be easily utilized by programs struggling with a lack of resources for the target population. This group model can be applied to individuals who are dually diagnosed because it is versatile and nonthreatening.
