STUDY OF FAST HEATING OF OXYGEN IN A NON-SELF-SUSTAINING DISCHARGE

摘要
This paper is devoted to an experimental study of the electron energy balance in non-self-sustained pulse oxygen discharges. The experimental data are analyzed and compared with theory. Fast heating of oxygen is found to be caused by elastic scattering of ions and electrons.
