摘要
Fibres from the X15CrNiSi20.13 steel are especially suitable for the reinforcement of refractory materials to increase service-time. The oxidation resistance of the steel fibres at high temperatures is considered a significant property for the definition of service value. Comparison tests were made to evaluate the influence of high-speed solidification and the finestructure formation. Adding microalloying elements having a high oxygen affinity as well as the increase of silicon content may systematically influence the oxidation behaviour.
