摘要
Spectrophotometric determination of arbutin in a system: Ce(IV), arbutin, arsenazo III was elaborated. The examined system demonstrates the maximum absorbance value at lambda = 655 nm in the pH = 3.5. The new method enables determination of arbutin in the concentration range 0.1-0.6-mu-g.ml-1. The apparent molar absorption coefficient epsilon(app) = 2.44 x 10(5) 1. mol-1.cm-1. This method has been successfully applied to determination the arbutin level in herb raw materials.
