Humanist Latin American education: proposal for social development

摘要
The present essay aims to examine the educational perspectives of some Latin American thinkers, following the humanistic approach that highlights their proposals. Understanding that this vision strengthens education as a factor of social development, while promoting critical thinking, results in social inclusion and the real liberation of human being. To achieve this, the ideas of authors like Simon Rodrigues, Jose Marti, Paulo Freire, and Humberto Maturana are explained and discussed, although distant in time and historical geography, agree on the need to include essential elements in classrooms as freedom, creativity, dialogue and love, as the core of a true learning with social impact.
