摘要：
This paper reviews measurements of various physiologic properties of the lung, including static measurements of lung volumes, dynamic inspiratory and expiratory air flow, elasticity, integrity of the alveolar-capillary surface area, and arterial blood gases. The use of high-resolution computed tomography in the diagnosis of lung disease is also discussed.
