摘要：

An efficient route is reported for the synthesis of derivatives of the thieno[3',2':4,5][l]benzothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine system 6 with a substituent (oxygen atom or amino group) in the bay region. These molecules are shown by extensive MM calculations to show a significant degree of helical distortion.
