摘要：
The design and testing of a stereoscopic X-radiographic observation and measuring instrument are discussed. Its use with radiographic films is to ascertain the spatial locations and appearances of defects within a specimen. Its application makes possible three-dimensional assessment as opposed to two-dimensional assessment. The instrument is designed using the theory of parallax. It is simple in construction and proves effective in practice.
