摘要
Charge state resolved ion yield spectra in the Is excitation region of Ar have been measured in coincidence with threshold electrons. Decay channels of the Ar 1s(-1)4p resonance were studied by combining these ion yields and those obtained by a conventional time-of-flight mass spectrometer. The branching ratio of the resonant Auger shake-off to two-step decays for the 1s(-1)4p resonance was estimated to be 71:29%. The resonant Auger shake-off decay plays an important role in the 1s(-1)4p resonance decay.
