Did you or your children learn about distinguished drains, or get your granny barcoded and discover just how priceless she really is (as if you didn't already know), during the SET campaign? For this was the week that was - the start of an annual project meant to bring home to the public the importance of science, engineering and technology. But which instead, was sidetracked by the need to show how much fun, rather than fundamental these topics are. Dinah Greek reviews the week.
