Strategic planning based on a quality management approach

This research focuses on the work done by the "Jose Antonio Echeverria" Higher Polytechnic Institute ( ISPJAE) for the successful integration of two management tools: the strategic planning and the management system. Hence, the main objective is to integrate the management tools of the organization: the strategic CUJAE project and the management system. The method used is the process approach applied to organizational design. The main results were obtained from the application of the continuous improvement cycle. The conclusions reflect the results obtained by matching both instruments and focusing them to the achieving of the objectives.
