摘要：
In this paper, we investigate the global stability and the periodic nature of the positive solutions of the difference equation y(n+1) = alpha + y(n-1)/y(n) - y(n)/y(n-1), n = 0, 1, 2,..., where alpha > 0 and the initial conditions y(0), y(-1) are arbitrary positive real numbers.
