摘要
In this study, factors that cause drainage problems in Mustafa Uysal Park have been searched in the scope of landscape design and landscape engineering. In order to propose regulations, evaluations and observations were conducted to protect natural topography and natural drainage lines and these data have been digitized. Digital elevation model (DEM) has been created by ArcGIS 10.1 software 3DAnalyst extension and Rainwater flow directions and water collection area maps are formed by ArcHydro extension which was used to create Rainwater flow directions and water collection area maps. Water accumulation analyses was carried out by performed field observations and were compared with data formed by used to create water accumulation analysis map and compared with water collection area maps created with ArcHydro extension. According to the results of analysis, drainage systems have been determined to be insufficient in study areas. Results indicated that surface waters are generally accumulate in land-uses such as pedestrian ways and playgrounds due to deficiencies in landscape design. Surface water flowing quantities have been calculated with Rational Method, to avoid structures and entries from water mass, deep drainage and concrete or grass-covered parabola surface drainage systems were suggested. The proposed drainage systems and design features of the parks were discussed and several recommendations were made for future studies.
