EQUILIBRIUM AND SYNTHETIC STUDIES OF LEAD(II), CADMIUM(II), ZINC(II), NICKEL(II) AND MANGANESE(II) COMPLEXES WITH VARIOUS HYDROXAMIC ACIDS

摘要
The metal-ligand stability constants of Pb(II), Cd(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Mn(II) with N-phenylbenzohydroxamic acid have been determined in 50% (v/v) dioxane-water mixture using Irving-Rossotti potentiometric titration technique at constant ionic strength 0.1 M NaClO4 and at 30+/-0.1-degrees-C. The stability sequence has been found as: Pb(II) > Cd(II) > Zn(II); Ni(II) > Mn(II).
