摘要
Elderly people that use information Technology and Communication (ICT) in Asturias are the object of study in the present investigation. A preliminary analysis allows affirming that elderly population that makes use of ICTs is a very small percentage of the total elderly population in Asturias. Thus, it is necessary to know the distinguishing characteristics (personal and socio-demographic) of this elderly users of information Technologies and Communication, with the purpose of establishing some dear guidelines that allow extending ICS's use to other elderly people. This is the reason why the mixed design of the investigation is focused in knowing in depth the profile of the elderly users of Information Technology and Communication in Asturias.
