Measurements of the fluctuation-induced conductivity, Delta sigma(a), magnetoconductivity, Delta sigma(a) and diamagnetism, Delta(chi ab), of an untwinned YBa2Cu3O7-delta single crystal, with the applied magnetic field perpendicular to the ab-planes, are presented. These results suggest the absence of appreciable Maki-Thompson effects in copper-oxide superconductors.
