摘要
The authors investigated cast irons with 2. 7-3. 0% C and 2. 7-3. 0% Si containing 0-11. 7% Mn. Manganese changes the equilibrium conditions. Less silicon is spent on the formation of austenite in solidification. At certain carbon and silicon concentrations this induces the formation of high-silicon phase - silicocarbide - and an increase in the ternary eutectic.
