摘要
This paper discusses the meaning of Montesquieu's concept of laws as the "necessary relations derived from the nature of things". Specifically, we will try to show that Montesquieu does not give a definition, because laws, as relations, are not things, substances or something definable. In order to have their own meaning laws must have no "meaning", no finality, no definition.
