摘要：

Paget disease of the breast is a relatively rare entity with a favorable prognosis. For many years, the gold standard treatment has been mastectomy. However, breast-conserving surgery is now feasible and should be evaluated as the first-line option whenever negative margins with acceptable cosmetic results can be achieved. Imaging techniques are essential to exclude an underlying carcinoma and play an important role in selecting candidates for breast-conserving treatment and in follow-up. (C) 2012 Elsevier Espana, S.L.
