LINEAR INTRACAVITY LASER SPECTROSCOPY WITH AN ANALYTICAL FREQUENCY SIGNAL

摘要
A new method of analytical laser spectroscopy is suggested which is based on linear repulsion of frequencies of a double-mode dye laser with an internal absorption cell. The demonstration experiment yielded the sensitivity of approximately 10(9) Hz/cm-1 which is less than an order of magnitude lower than the absolute theoretical limit. It has been found that it is independent of the intensity and duration of the steady-state laser action.
