摘要
The clinical practice in paediatric palliative care needs to consider the unthinkable of a child's death. The bereavement question is a central issue for the resource teams which accompany children, their family and the caregivers during this long way. When it comes to illness and death, bereavement concerns everybody. The child becoming ill is forced to the bereavement of who and what he/she was, parents are facing with the never being, the siblings experience a major turnaround in the family they are part of. Care staffs facing to their own powerlessness are also impregnated of these issues. The resource teams are particularly sensitive to these multiple, complex questions, never seeing the same thing. Bereavement being a subject extremely large, we focus, in this work, on the parents' bereavement. (C) 2016 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
