摘要
The natural radioactivities inside Dandara temple are studied by using a NaI(Tl) scintillation spectrometer. The variation of these activities with location is investigated. Average values of the identified radionuclides inside the halls, sanctuary and crypt of the temple are examined. It is estimated that the mean value lies in the range 37.9-90.1 for Pb-212, 70.0-36.0 for Bi-214, 52.6-76.2 for Ac-228, 1.6-5.9 for Tl-208, while for K-40 it is 169.3-286.6.
