摘要
Poellot, M.R. and Pflaum, J.C., 1989. Microphysical characteristics of some convective clouds over Oklahoma. Atmos. Res., 24: 123-136. During September, 1987 developing convective clouds over the state of Oklahoma were sampled in situ for their microphysical properties. The clouds are characterized in terms of their cloud water, droplet spectra and ice particle content. Stratifications of penetration length and average vertical motion have been used. The clouds were found to be relatively wet (maximum liquid-water content up to 4.4 g m(-3)) with broad droplet spectra. The temporal and spatial development of large liquid drops (diameters >2 mm) indicates that the clouds were developing precipitation initially through a collision-coalescence process.
